Medical Volunteer Assistance Program

Given various disasters and the need for medical assistance, E3 implemented a program to provide financial support to employees who wish to volunteer their time and medical skills to assist non-profit charitable organizations with medical missions. E3 assists the employee with reimbursement for up to 20 hours of pay for time off incurred for approved medical missions, i.e. Operation Rainbow. The Medical Volunteer Assistance Program is for benefited employees who have been employed for at least two years and have satisfactory performance.

E3 also supports our physicians that participate and donate their medical expertise for missions by donating up to $500 per mission.

Hurricane Katrina

In August 2005 an estimated 1,836 people lost their lives in the Hurricane Katrina and in the subsequent floods, making it the deadliest U.S. hurricane since the 1928. The E3 employee donations and company match program sent $9,660 to New Orleans through various non-profit organizations including The Salvation Army, Save the Children, The American Red Cross, Second Harvest and Habitat for Humanity.

Tsunami Relief

Medical items were donated to the Tsunami relief effort in March 2005 in the amount of $22,000.

Supporting the Troops

An effort that began as a small business office project morphed in to a company-wide calling to collect goods for shipment to the U. S. troops abroad. The basics were collected such as socks, hygiene items, candy, trail mix, toothpaste, crystal light and more. A total of 30 care packages to 26 recipients in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo were delivered.

Read some of the thank you letters from our troops.

Thank you so much for your support and gratitude. We enjoyed the package and the letter. It's an honor to receive your admiration, and thanks even though we believe we are not any more deserving than any other American. To know that there are Americans who express such gratitude, reminds your soldiers of the reasons why we love this country and will always be there to defend it. Again, thanks. CW2 Adam Cox

Thank you for taking the time to send us some things from back home. It is always a real pleasure to hear from people back in the United States. My soldiers and I greatly appreciate the gifts that you have sent to us, especially the socks. With it reaching temps of 118F already and suppose to hit 130F in the next two months, being able to change your socks a couple of times a day makes it a little more tolerable. I have broken up the box of goodies into different boxes to send out to my soldiers in my outlaying sites. I know some of my soldiers don’t really have too much family back home so they really don’t get many letters or packages. Seeing their name on the mail room board is a great morale booster for them. I thank you for making this happen for them. Here is a picture of a small portion of 2nd Squad 64th MDVS.

Thanks for the support that you and your co-workers have shown to us while we are deployed here in Iraq. All the goodies were well received....We are a small operations Transition Team. We train the Iraqi Army in Border Patrol procedures in the Diyala province in the Iraq /Iran border. We help the Iraqis to protect the border against Iranian smugglers that bring weapons to Iraq that are used against Coalition and Iraqi forces. Also we train them in weapons and military procedures. Each of us is a matter expert in our field and the Iraqis are very positive about the job they are doing!!! We have been in the country over ten months now, and we just moved to a new facility and we are working in getting the area in shape!!!
Again thanks for you support! We are Proud to be here for you!!!!!!!
